Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DomaiNPro OÜ (registry code 17533284), trading as DomainEvo, processes personal data when you use domain-evo.com and our Services. We act as data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data we collect

  • Account & registrant data: name, organisation, postal address, email, phone — as required to register and manage domains.
  • Transaction data: orders, invoices and payment status (card data is handled by our payment providers, not stored by us).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/device information and request logs, used for security and service operation.

2. Why we process it (legal bases)

  • Performance of a contract — to provide, register and manage your domains and Services.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with registry/registrar requirements, accounting and applicable law.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure our systems, prevent abuse and improve the Services.
  • Consent — where required, e.g. for optional communications.

3. Registries, registrars and WHOIS

To register a domain, certain data must be shared with the relevant registry and registrar (for .eu, EURid). Some registries publish limited registrant data in public WHOIS/RDAP. Where available, our free WHOIS privacy keeps your personal details out of the public record to the extent permitted by registry policy and the GDPR.

4. Sharing and processors

We share data only with parties necessary to deliver the Services — registries, registrars, payment providers and infrastructure/hosting processors — under appropriate agreements. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet legal, accounting and registry obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies/storage needed to operate the site and keep it secure. We do not use advertising trackers.

10. Contact

For privacy requests, contact info@domain-evo.com or write to the registered office listed on our Legal Information page.
